If you are living with lymphoedema, we can help.
As of 1 June 2020 we will be delivering a lymphoedema clinic at our Preston (PANCH) health centre. This is a partnership with Mercy Health that will relocate their existing lymphoedema clinics in Heidelberg and Werribee to our Bell Street location.
Lymphoedema is the accumulation of fluid resulting in swelling in the body. It usually affects the limbs, but it may also involve the trunk, breast, head and neck or genital area. It may occur as a result of some cancer treatments or because the lymphatic vessels or nodes have been damaged or were not formed correctly.
If you are an existing Mercy Health lymphoedema clinic client:
Mercy Health will contact you asking if you consent for your medical information to be transferred to Your Community Health. Or you can contact Mercy Health on (03) 8458 4949 to request a transfer of your information. Once you have given consent, we will contact you when you are due for your next review appointment.
If you are new to this clinic:
