Student Placements

Your Community Health provides a supportive and high quality learning environment for students looking to advance their practical experience.

If you are committed to a career in your chosen field we would love to hear from you.

Where possible, it is preferable that student coordinators from educational facilities negotiate student placement arrangements with clinical providers on behalf of students.  For courses where this is not possible, please contact us directly.

We welcome all enquiries, but specifically encourage applicants from the following fields:

  • Communications, marketing, media or related studies
  • Counselling
  • Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Oral Health
  • Physiotherapy
  • Podiatry
  • Primary Health
  • Speech Pathology

All placements are subject to satisfactory references, Working With Children Checks and Police Checks, as appropriate.

Please note, Your Community Health is unable to offer work experience placements to secondary school students.

If we don’t have a placement suitable for you, you may be interested in volunteering with us.
