About Us » Board of Directors

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors recognise that good health is more than the absence of disease. It requires a ‘whole of community’ approach towards addressing social, environmental and economic inequalities.

Your Community Health is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, providing high quality health and community services across Northern Melbourne. The Board governs and directs the business of the company. The Board is responsible for setting the overall governance and Strategic Directions for Your Community Health, including developing the governance policies that make clear the boundaries within which the CEO and Leadership Team will work. The CEO establishes, in conjunction with the Board of Directors, all operational policies essential for the effective management of the organisation. Board Directors serve a three-year term. Directors are either elected by Your Community Health members or appointed by the Directors as outlined in the organisation’s Constitution.
